Bosque de Niebla coffee is the result of a 700-tree crop that can produce 600 kg of Arabica coffee per year. An artisanal plantation defended with energy by Monica, owner of the place and craftswoman who maintains with passion and patience her Finca. The plants grow in the shade of fruit and native trees. Without the use of pesticides, plants are fertilized with compost and leaves from overhanging trees. The picking is done by hand by Monica herself and her close collaborators, and the fruits, once cleared of their fleshy envelope, are dried on the spot. Once dry, the grains are transported to Bogota where they are shelled before being roasted and packaged by José Luis. The grains give a fresh, balanced and tangy coffee.
